A Saudi father pardoned his son’s killer if he successfully memorized the Holy Quran, a local newspaper reported on Saturday. 

Rabi’a al-Dousary, father of the slain young man named Abdullah, promised to pardon the convicted felon, Faisal al-Ameri, if he successfully memorized all of the Holy Quran before leaving prison, al-Yawm Saudi newspaper reported. 

Ameri was sentenced to death for killing Dousary during a quarrel that erupted in their neighborhood.

The Higher Committee of Correction in the Eastern Province of the Kingdom has persuaded the father to forgive and pardon Ameri.

The father, who refused to receive any blood money, to teach the Ameri a far more valuable lesson, insisted on one condition: the killer to fully memorize the Quran before his acquittal from prison.

This is the true passion of Islam, This is the true mercy from believer of Allah, This is the lesson every Muslim brother and sister need to learn.. To be believer we must be kind and merciful to all humanity,

Our beloved Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessing on him) said

Kindness is a mark of faith, and whoever is not kind has no faith. (Muslim)

Allah will not give mercy to anyone, except those who give mercy to other creatures. (Abdullah b. Amr: Abu Dawud & Tirmidhi)

Do Osama Bin Laden Is mujahid and shaheed?

Islam was not spread by the sword. It was spread by the word (Islamic teachings) and the example of its followers. Islam teaches that there is no compulsion in religion (the Holy Qur'an 2:256 and 10:99

Terrorism, unjustified violence and the killing of innocent people are absolutely forbidden in Islam. Islam is a way of life that is meant to bring peace to a society, whether its people are Muslim or not. The extreme actions of those who claim to be Muslim may be, among other things, a result of their ignorance or uncontrolled anger. Tyrant rulers and those who commit acts of terrorism in the name of Islam are simply not following Islam. Extremism and fanaticism is a problem that is common to all religious groups.

The word "jihad" does not mean "holy war". Instead, it means the inner struggle that one endures in trying to submit their will to the will of God (Allah). Some Muslims may say they are going for "jihad" when fighting in a war to defend themselves or their fellow Muslims, but they only say this because they are conceding that it will be a tremendous struggle. But there are many other forms of jihad which are more relevant to the everyday life of a Muslim such as the struggles against laziness, arrogance, stinginess, or the struggle against a tyrant ruler or against the temptation of Satan, or against one's own ego, etc.

"The best jihad [struggle] is (by) the one who strives against his own self for Allah, The Mighty and Majestic," Hadith (sayings of the Prophet Muhammad).

"Fight in the cause of Allah those who fight you, but do not transgress limits; for Allah loves not transgressors." Qur'an, Chapter 2, verse 190. Now let’s know Meanings of Jihad and Mujahid

"Jihad" and "Mujahid" (one who carries out a jihad) are two religious words that have been given multiple meanings

Many accounts in the media define "jihad" as a synonym for "holy war," a vicious clash between followers of different religions, each of whom believes that God is on their side and that the other side is of Satan. This usage often appears on Western TV, radio, and other media during news.

Others use the term as a synonym for a struggle of any type. This reflects the origin of the word from the Arabic verb "jahada" which means to struggle or fight.

The conventional interpretation of "Jihad"

According to Beliefnet, Al-Hajj Talib 'Abdur-Rashid, imam of the Mosque of Islamic Brotherhood in Harlem, NY, defines three levels of jihad -- personal, verbal and physical. Considering each in turn:

	Personal Jihad: This is the most important form. This type of jihad, called the Jihadun-Nafs, is the intimate struggle to purify one's soul of evil influences -- both subtle and overt. It is the struggle to cleanse one's spirit of sin. In a brochure, the Institute of Islamic Information & Education describes several different contexts in which The Qur'an (the Islamic Holy Book) and the Hadith (the collected sayings of Muhammad) use the word "jihad" to refer to personal struggles Putting "Allah ahead of our loved ones, our wealth, our worldly ambitions and our own lives." Resisting pressure of parents, peers and society; strive against "the rejecters of faith..." (Quran 25:52) "Strive and struggle to live as true Muslims..." "Striving for righteous deeds." Spreading the message of Islam. "The (true) believers are only those who believe in Allah and his messenger and afterward doubt not, but strive with their wealth and their selves for the cause of Allah. Such are the truthful." (Quran, 49:15)
	Verbal Jihad: To strive for justice through words and non-violent actions. Muhammad encouraged Muslims to demand justice in the name of Allah. When asked: "'What kind of jihad is better?' Muhammad replied, 'A word of truth in front of an oppressive ruler!'" According to the Institute of Islamic Information and Education: "The life of the Prophet Muhammad was full of striving to gain the freedom to inform and convey the message of Islam. During his stay in Makkah [Mecca] he used non-violent methods and after the establishment of his government in Madinah [Medina], by the permission of Allah, he used armed struggle against his enemies whenever he found it inevitable." Physical Jihad: This relates to the use of physical force in defense of Muslims against oppression and transgression by the enemies of Allah, Islam and Muslims. Allah commands that Muslims lead peaceful lives and not transgress against anyone. If they are persecuted and oppressed, the Qur'an recommends that they migrate to a more peaceful and tolerant land "Lo! Those who believe and those who emigrate (to escape persecution) and strive (Jahadu) in the way of Allah, these have hope of Allah's mercy..." (Quran, 2:218). If relocation is not possible, then Allah also requires Muslims to defend themselves against oppression by "fighting against those who fight against us." The Qur'an states "To those against whom war is made, permission is given [to defend themselves], because they are wronged - and verily, Allah is Most Powerful to give them victory." (22:39) The defensive nature of physical jihad (or "jihad with the hand") is frequently lost among many, Muslims, Christians, secularists and others. In her book "Muhammad," author Karen Armstrong writes: "Fighting and warfare might sometimes be necessary, but it was only a minor part of the whole jihad or struggle. A well-known tradition (hadith) has Muhammad say on returning from a battle, ' We return from the little jihad to the greater jihad,' the more difficult and crucial effort to conquer the forces of evil in oneself and in one's own society in all the details of daily life." So, what kind of jihad Osama Bin Laden did, Is it physical jihad, But he over come by rules of war in Islam, He killed innocent people in his attracts, He prepare men to make suicide attackers, As in Islam committing suicide is not allowed {hara’am} you can find it Qur’an and hadith … And Osama Bin Laden gave Islam a tag of terror by his acts, By name of Osama bin Laden and war on terror by America many innocent Muslims die in Afghanistan war, its war for hunt of Osama Bin Laden and then America got base for Iraq war, for ten years Osama Bin Laden was hiding when Muslim community in Afghanistan were killed by US military, Ten years Osama Bin Laden hide by knowing children, men, women got killed by US army in Afghanistan , I had seen tears of them I had seen there pain women got raped by US army I had see prisoners of Afghan war we all seen in media. Do Osama Bin Laden didn’t know that… He knows all and every thing happening around the world…why Osama Bin Laden hide a Jihadist not meant to hide, A Jihadist is meant to fight for religion for his community as brave man… Osama Bin Laden is not a Jihadist because he hides by years after killing many Muslims and non-Muslims, As Islamic teaching it’s not allowed to kill any innocent human Some Muslims think united stats of America is supper power, But they lost their faith by thinking so, because say’s Allah is only have the power supreme, he {allah} ruler of all heaven and earth… United stats of America will pay, surly they gona pay for the policies against Islam and for playing fragile role to bring peace in Palestine…. Islam is peace, and peace comes by peace Osama Bin Laden started war by name of Jihad and war brings pain, hurt’s for all humanity, killing of innocent people and this got end as Osama Bin Laden got dead By US army.. If any Muslim wana bring peace, then please make it in peaceful way, Muslims need a Verbal Jihad, which by striving for justice by words of truth and by non-violent methods, Muslims need physical Jihad but in limits of humanity as Islam teach us to be… Aim of my writing on Osama Bin Laden Is Mujahid and Shaheed ? Is to say peace comes by peace and we must not take word Jihad for Mass Killing and Osama Bin Laden is not our Hero or A shaheed because he gone against by violating Islamic law by going against humanity Obama said “justices has been done” I would say Justices has began Allah for Osama Bin Laden and soon it be began for United stats of America too If they don’t play strong role to bring peace in Palestine….Muhammad Yahya Mehmood {yahya al noor}
